CLEANING AND TESTING PROCESS
In order to provide items to our customers with the option of the original patina, we do not generally polish our items after we have cleaned them. We believe it's best for the customers to make that distinction once they have received the item. We test all metals with Nitric acid and verify with our Niton XL2 metal alloy detector. We test all gemstones with a Presidium Gem Tester. Unfortunately, gem testers will not differentiate natural gemstones from their synthetic counterparts; this being the case we cannot guarantee natural stones unless we specifically state that it is natural in the listing. Many gemstones' properties overlap and could potentially be one of many varieties of gemstones. We do our best, based on the tester readings, to determine whether or not the item is a specific gemstone; however, we are not GIA-certified gemologists. We encourage customers to verify what we sell if there are any questions.
